Dare to Communicate Personality: the 10 Best Advice I Found Online

Yesterday I told you My Story: I’m not comfortable talking about myself. I was rambling about my troubles to cope talking about myself. Not being able to hold a natural and flowing speech about yourself, interesting enough to make other people notice you, will make you miss a lot of opportunities. You may not get the job you are so well suited for or getting the salary raise you deserve. Your social success can also be suffering.

The other day I googled on “how to show personality” and I found these sometimes odd but still interesting tips on how to express and communicate the real you, stand out from the crowd and get noticed. I made an infographic out of what I found. Please share with others if you find it useful!

Many people are afraid to reveal too much about themselves. It makes them feel vulnerable and exposed. But hiding things make your personality a bit dull. Go out and challenge yourself! One of the tips I like most is number 6 below. It’s about giving 20 percent more of you than you already do. Don’t miss the explanation why it matters.

What do you think? What’s your key to communicating the real you? Please leave a comment!

Ioanna, I’m glad you liked it! To be yourself is the only way. Tips like “do this” and “be this way” create a role which probably will be restraining rather than liberating for the personality. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
